Terms and Conditions of CPD courses

Booking:
All bookings for CPD courses are made through the Primary Art Skills website. www.primaryartskills.co.uk/courses
When booking, specify the payment method – PayPal, Bacs or via cheque.
When paying via Bacs or cheque, an invoice for the full amount will be issued to the email address added on the booking form.
Payment is NOT subject to VAT
Whilst it is understood that many schools are instructed NOT to make payments for services until received, please see below for cancellation details.
All bookings that have not been paid for are still subject to cancellation costs if they fall within the cancellation period – see below.

Cancellation:
If you need to cancel your CPD course:
If you are unable to attend the course, substitutions of one delegate with another from the same school can be made at any time without penalty. Please notify me of this.

The full cost of the booking is payable if you do not cancel your booking prior to the course and do not attend.
To cover the cost of processing your cancellation and to compensate Primary Art Skills for the risk that I may not be able to resell your place, I request a cancellation charge on the scale shown below.

More than four weeks to the date of the course – Full refund available
Four weeks or less to date of event – No refund available

If Primary Art Skills need to cancel the CPD course:
Primary Art Skills reserves the right, if necessary to make alterations or cancellations to a previously confirmed training course for reasons including but not limited to illness, adverse weather conditions or insufficient demand for the training course.
If it is necessary for Primary Art Skills to cancel a course, where feasible, an alternative date will first be offered.
If you are unable to attend the rescheduled course, you will be offered a transfer to another CPD course.
Please note – no refunds (Including travel) will be given If you are unable to attend due to circumstances beyond my control such as: civil disturbances, terrorist activity, industrial disputes, transportation problems, natural disasters, fire, epidemics, health risks, illness to you or your family, bereavements, actual or potential weather conditions and any other similar events.
Once all options are explored, refunds can be negotiated but are at the discretion of Primary Art Skills.

Course information:
Primary Art Skills will email all the necessary course information such as the venue, location map and course overview within 7 days of the course date.
Course information will be emailed to the email address specified at the point of booking. Please check your Junk/Spam folder if they have not arrived.
Course materials will be handed out on the day. Where possible, electronic versions of course information will be emailed afterwards.
Please do not publish, copy, reproduce, circulate, or distribute any of the training materials for the Course (in whole or in part) to any third-party organisation or educational institution not including your own school.

Data Protection Statement:
Please be assured that Primary Art Skills does not sell information about individuals to any third parties. Information will only be shared for internal monitoring and evaluation of services and for the purposes of accountability to funding bodies.

Liability:
Primary Art Skills shall not be liable for the death or injury to any Delegate, or for any consequential loss, damage, claim, action, proceedings, or expenses or other liability of the Client related to this Contract, except where such is due to the Primary Art Skills negligence, or where the loss cannot be excluded by law. Primary Art Skills shall not be liable for any damage to or any loss of any goods, articles or property of any kind belonging to the Client or Delegates or brought into the premises for the Event.

Additional Information
Primary Art Skills reserve the right to remove any delegate displaying disruptive or inappropriate language or behaviour, such decision being at the sole discretion of the course leader. In such circumstance Primary Art Skills will not offer any alternative dates or refunds of monies already paid.

Complaints:
22. Primary Art Skills endeavours to ensure that the contents and timings of the booked Training are clearly laid out so there are no confusions as to what training you will receive. Complaints and feedback are taken very seriously and we endeavour to do our utmost to rectify any issues and concerns in a timely manner.
